Children & Teens

Having worked extensively with children and teens in early childhood intervention settings, education settings, and through the NDIS, I am passionate about advocating for their needs and their voice. As many adults know, finding the right words for how we feel can be challenging at the best of times. Therefore, giving children and young people the power to express themselves in a non-verbal way can have a multitude of positive effects such as reduced anxiety and depression, increased self-worth and self-understanding, increased coping skills, and builds resilience.

I work with children and teens in a way that respects their boundaries and ensures that they feel in control and safe during the session. Going at their pace, I watch and notice what unfolds during the session and use age-appropriate art materials and interventions to help them express themselves freely.

If you are concerned about your child's mental and emotional wellbeing or wish to provide them with an alternative way to learn more about themselves, please don't hesitate to contact me today.
